First steps in the forest

Givat Gonen School, Jerusalem has become a Forest School, so whenever possible lessons are held out-of-doors in the valley next to the school. . This year we have been funding three small groups of 3 or 4 children. So after over 8 years with the Talia Trust project our teacher Dorit has taken her first class into the forest. Here we can see 3rd grade children colouring pages according to what is written on the sticks they have chosen or reciting the alphabet as they jump. Dorit is very happy with the children's progress - but intends to take a chair for the next lesson in the forest.
